Ubisoft resurrects the 1999 strategy legend — full remake, both expansions included, new graphics with the classic gameplay intact.

Xbox led with boxes, not games
The Aug 26 broadcast opened with its two biggest reveals — and neither one was a game.
Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition
Xbox's 25th-anniversary console: a translucent "OG green" shell, each unit individually numbered with a unique engraving. Bundles the X25 Special Edition controller and a full download of Halo: Campaign Evolved. Invite-only pre-orders went out Aug 26, general pre-orders opened Aug 27, one per customer. The matching controller sells separately from Oct 20, 2026 at $79.99.
Disc to Digital
Put a supported physical disc in an Xbox One or Series X and claim a digital entitlement for it, across thousands of games. Testing starts with Xbox Insiders on Aug 31. Two catches worth knowing: the Series S is excluded (no disc drive), and it's one license per disc.
